Job description

Ø Oversee legal compliance management for the company’s overseas operations.

Ø Provide end-to-end legal support for international projects, including marketing, negotiation, and contract execution.

Ø Establish and maintain relationships with overseas legal service providers and professional resources.

Ø Assist the Head of Legal in corporate governance-related legal affairs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

Ø Minimum 10 years of legal practice, including 3+ years as legal team leader or corporate legal head.

Ø Proven track record in handling cross-border compliance, dispute resolution (litigation/arbitration), and international negotiations.

Ø Proactively mitigate compliance risks through systematic controls.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

Ø Ability to assess legal risks across diverse jurisdictions, regulatory frameworks, and enforcement practices, proposing actionable solutions.

Business & Risk Acumen:

Ø Strong commercial awareness to provide risk assessments and legal advisory support.

Ø Experience leading teams in high-stakes contract reviews, negotiations, and crisis management.

Soft Skills:

Ø Exceptional teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

Ø Resilience in handling complex legal matters under pressure.

Education & Credentials:

Ø Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law; Master’s preferred.

Ø Licensed to practice law (Bar admission/Legal Professional Qualification Certificate).

Ø Intermediate or senior professional title.

Language & Background:

Ø Fluency in English and Chinese (business-legal proficiency required).

Ø Common Law jurisdiction education/work experience is a plus.
