Key Responsibilities

• Oversee academic quality assurance and implement targeted improvement strategies
• Lead Senior School CPD related to curriculum design and assessment practices
• Manage public examinations, access arrangements, predicted grades, and appeals processes
• Analyse examination results and oversee departmental performance reviews
• Coordinate academic transition points between key stages and into Sixth Form
• Lead annual timetabling, staff deployment, and options processes
• Line‑manage Heads of Department, Examinations Officer, and Cover Supervisor
• Support university preparation processes and Sixth Form academic programmes
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements
