Job summary

Rejlers International Engineering Solutions in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Deputy HOD - Civil & Structural to plan, organize, and manage the Civil and Structural discipline across projects in the UAE. The role reports to the Head of Discipline and ensures high‑quality deliverables in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical industries.

You will oversee discipline policies, lead a capable team, and coordinate with project managers to meet schedule, scope, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 18 years minimum Oil & Gas experience and minimum 5 years in Management role.
Extensive experience with civil and structural engineering and design in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
Proficiency in civil/structural software such as STAAD Pro, Ram Connections, Midas and more.

Responsibilities

Deputize for the Head of Discipline in their absence and manage all civil and structural engineering discipline activities.
Lead and develop the team to deliver high quality deliverables to the highest professional standards.
Support the Head of Discipline with management of planning, budgets and safety.
Act as Lead Engineer in projects and coordinate with project engineering manager to solve technical problems.
