Job summary

Rejlers International Engineering Solutions is seeking a Lead Design Engineer, Civil & Structural in Abu Dhabi to drive design execution on major oil and gas projects.

You will oversee planning, FEED verification, resource management and multi-discipline coordination, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery within budget. UAE experience and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering; 15 years Oil & Gas experience; at least 8 years in a Lead role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; leadership and coordination.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries; able to handle peak project pressure.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Civil/structural team and supervise related works.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve issues.
• Maintain daily diary and reports for team members.
• Report on resourcing, technical issues, progress, and discipline performance.
• Review drawings, proposals, and RFIs for quality and correctness.
• Coordinate with client, sub-contractors and authorities.
• Lead regular team meetings and ensure timely approvals.
• Ensure safety targets and project risk management compliance.
• Provide on-site direction and issue work instructions.
• Monitor progress vs plan and prepare progress reports.
• Participate in bidding and estimation for sales enquiries.
