Job summary

Rejlers in Abu Dhabi seeks a Deputy Head of Discipline for Civil & Structural to plan, direct, and manage the discipline activities in alignment with the strategic plan. You will lead a team, develop goals, and ensure quality deliverables across projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, and related industries.

The role requires extensive UAE onshore experience, strong communication, and leadership skills, with familiarity in ADNOC standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 18 years minimum Oil & Gas experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Management role.
Experience with ADNOC specifications and international codes (BS, Eurocodes, API, etc).
Onshore experience required; offshore exposure is a bonus.
Proficiency in civil/structural software and design for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical industries.

Responsibilities

Deputize for the Head of Discipline in their absence and manage the civil & structural discipline.
Lead and develop the team to deliver high-quality deliverables to the highest professional standards.
Assist in management areas including communications, planning, execution and budgeting.
Contribute to operational direction and improvement plans for project execution.
Act as Lead Engineer on projects and coordinate with project engineering manager to solve technical problems.
