About the Role

Are you ready to lead world-class theme park operations and shape unforgettable guest journeys? Miral Experiences is seeking a dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) to support and elevate the strategic and operational performance of one of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic destinations — Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the DGM acts as second-in-command and plays a pivotal role in operational excellence, guest satisfaction, safety, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead the daily operations of the park, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, business objectives, and brand standards
  • Co-create and support annual operating plans and budgets in collaboration with the General Manager and leadership team
  • Translate long-term strategic goals into actionable initiatives to drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
  • Represent the GM in executive meetings, stakeholder engagements, and during periods of absence

People & Culture

  • Inspire, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary teams, including directors, managers, and frontline staff
  • Champion a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and collaboration
  • Partner with HR and L&D to develop capabilities, talent pipelines, and long-term retention strategies
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering workplace where colleagues feel valued and supported

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional guest journeys across all touchpoints
  • Drive initiatives to enhance NPS, increase dwell time, and encourage repeat visitation
  • Monitor service quality, operational readiness, and facility standards in real-time
  • Empower teams to create memorable "WOW" moments and deliver immersive, branded experiences

Commercial & Financial Performance

  • Oversee financial performance across operational departments, ensuring optimal resource utilization and achievement of P&L targets
  • Contribute to revenue generation across admissions, F&B, retail, and ancillary services
  • Identify and implement cost-efficiency opportunities without compromising quality or safety

Health, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with international and local health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Drive proactive risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and continuous safety training
  • Uphold operational excellence in safety governance and incident response protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10 years of leadership in large-scale theme parks, attractions, museums, live events, or entertainment venues
  • Experience managing large teams (150+ direct or 350+ indirect), and high-volume operations
  • Strong leadership presence, crisis management skills, and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in operational systems (POS, ride systems), crowd flow, and safety protocols
  • Guest-obsessed mindset, innovative thinking, and strategic execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, business, or related discipline
  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Previous multinational or cross-cultural exposure preferred
