Job summary

CPG Corporation in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Electrical Engineer to support the Electrical Lead in leading engineering teams and overseeing electrical design and supervision for large-scale infrastructure projects, including large and deep pumping stations.

Job description

The incumbent will support the Electrical Lead in leading engineering teams and overseeing electrical engineering design and supervision for large-scale infrastructure projects, including large and deep pumping stations.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• A master's degree in a related engineering discipline is preferred.
• At least 15 years' experience in electrical engineering design and supervision or a related field, including at least five years' proven experience leading engineering teams in the UAE and managing large-scale infrastructure projects similar to DSST.
• Professional certification as a Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent is required.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, international and local industry standards, and regulatory requirements, with demonstrable experience in large and deep pumping stations.
• Expertise in medium-voltage and low-voltage (MV/LV) systems, standby generation, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, motor control centres (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, power system studies and electrical protection systems.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English.
