Job Description

Deputy Boutique Manager is responsible for all aspects of boutique operations and administration, including reporting, retail operations, stock control, health and safety, security, and performance analysis.

This role will also cover the Boutique Manager during absences, requiring a solid understanding of both front and back office boutique operations.

He/She partners with the Boutique Manager to achieve business targets by managing the boutique team and ensuring excellence in operations and client service.

Key Responsibilities
Boutique Performance
  • Monitor sales targets and KPIs, and implement annual action plans.
  • Provide monthly reports on sales, traffic, KPIs, stock issues, customer service, and discounts, with corrective actions.
  • Run analytical reports as needed.
  • Update boutique notice boards.
Client Treatment
  • Act as a Brand ambassador and provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Handle customer issues professionally, involving the Boutique Manager if necessary.
  • Implement data capture and follow-up systems for clients, prospects, and reservations.
Team Co-management
  • Co-manage staff and security guards.
  • Lead daily briefings and team evaluations.
  • Assist in staff training and coaching.
  • Organize rotas and monitor team grooming and performance.
Operations & Stock Control
  • Ensure compliance with sales, financial, and security procedures.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and handle replenishments.
  • Lead stock inventories and manage stock transfers.
  • Oversee after-sales procedures and stockroom maintenance.
Visual Merchandising
  • Ensure merchandise presentation meets VM standards and the boutique is tidy.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-5 years management experience in luxury retail or services.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proactive, innovative, with excellent communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a multinational environment.
