Job Description

Fuel Stock and Consumption

Directly manage fuel stock levels, ensure proper consumption monitoring, and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce costs.

Strategic Resource Management

Oversee the strategic allocation and optimization of resources, ensuring effective and economical utilization to meet operational needs and long-term business goals.

Performance Analytics and Improvement

Lead the analysis and continuous improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) using Bus OCC data and other business metrics to drive operational excellence and meet strategic objectives.

Crisis and Emergency Response

Ensure 24/7 availability to manage emergencies and crises, including conducting site visits, when necessary, to mitigate operational disruptions.

Revenue Collection

Oversee and ensure timely cash collection for all rental contracts, maintaining financial accuracy and consistency.

Contract Management

Supervise and manage all long-term and short-term rental contracts, ensuring contractual compliance and performance alignment with business objectives.

Budget Planning and Control

Collaborate on depot budget planning, ensure effective execution, and maintain financial control over operational expenditures to align with budget targets.

Vehicle and Driver Allocation

Strategically allocate vehicles and drivers for daily operations and maintenance tasks, ensuring service efficiency.

Project and Strategic Plan Oversight

Prepare and review progress reports for all ongoing projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Operational Reporting

Oversee the completion and timely submission of operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly), ensuring accuracy and dissemination to relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Site Visits and Safety Audits

Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions.

Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.

Health and Safety Compliance

Monitor and ensure full implementation of safety standards, procedures, and regulations across all depot activities.

Committee and Team Leadership

Provide leadership and supervision for all approved committees and teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with strategic goals.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure total compliance with operational, maintenance, health and safety, and employment regulations and policies, addressing any discrepancies proactively.

Operational Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive annual operational plans to meet strategic business targets and KPIs.

Staff Performance Management

Supervise and manage the performance of depot employees and drivers, ensuring productivity, adherence to standards, and the fostering of a high-performance culture.

Maintenance Oversight

Lead the supervision of all ongoing maintenance activities, approving and ensuring the execution of the maintenance plan as submitted by the maintenance team.

Incident and Complaint Management

Oversee investigations and reporting of all incidents, complaints, and accidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken to mitigate future risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead daily VOR (Vehicle Off-Road) meetings between Operations, Maintenance, and external contractors/suppliers to resolve operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, Electromechanical) or equivalent from a recognized University. 8+ years of experience in a related field.
