Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is leading the Engineering Manager - Depot & Maintenance Facilities role in Abu Dhabi. You will head the engineering and design efforts for depot and maintenance facilities on a major rail infrastructure project, coordinating interfaces with consortium partners and the Engineer while driving timely submissions for approvals and construction.

The position requires a senior, collaborative leader with extensive experience managing multidisciplinary design activities,

Qualifications

• University degree in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's degree and/or Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering or construction management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Experience managing design consultants and subcontractors.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering and design of Depot and Maintenance Facilities.
• Manage design subcontractors and internal engineering activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and technical interface management.
• Ensure timely development, coordination, review and submission of design packages.
• Provide technical leadership and timely engineering decisions.
• Identify, manage and close design deficiencies and outstanding technical matters.
• Manage responses to design review comments.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with consortium partners, the Engineer and other stakeholders.
• Ensure Depot engineering activities comply with contractual requirements and support the overall project programme.
