Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, seeks a pastry/bakery chef with luxury hospitality experience to ensure high standards of product quality and presentation. You will support the senior Chef, manage mise-en-place, and maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen.

Flexibility and integrity are essential for long shifts in a first-class environment. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a similar role, hold an internationally recognized certification, and demonstrate excellent English,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in pastry/bakery in luxury hotels or fine dining.
• Internationally recognized professional certification required.
• Excellent level of English.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with flexibility.
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality; long shifts and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Undertake food preparation and cooking in the Pastry/Bakery kitchen under the senior Chef.
• Maintain inventory and ensure uninterrupted service flow per recipes.
• Keep kitchen and prep areas clean when not attended.
• Handle and maintain equipment and tools properly.
• Follow hygiene, stock rotation, dating, storage and temperature controls; report faults.
• Minimise waste and ensure mise-en-place from store to service.
