Apt Resources- Proactive Recruitment in Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to support the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes. You will help maintain food quality, portion control, and kitchen organization in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has a culinary background, is organized, and can follow recipes and safety standards while collaborating with senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or relevant professional training is an advantage.
• Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Prepare ingredients including washing, cutting, portioning and storing food items.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie.
• Ensure proper storage labeling and rotation of food items.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute to smooth kitchen operation.
