Your Day to Day

In this role, you will assist in the daily preparation, production, and presentation of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, including breads, cakes, tarts, and specialty items.

You will support the Chef de Partie in managing the pastry and bakery section, ensuring all products are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Your day will include preparing ingredients, mixing batters and doughs, baking, decorating desserts, maintaining stock levels, organizing your workstation, and ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met.

You will also help in menu planning, contribute creative ideas for seasonal and special menus, assist in inventory management, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organized, and running smoothly during service periods.
