Maintains the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual to ensure the efficient operation of the department in accordance with Hotel Policy.
Team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
Assists in establishing the identity of the outlet by providing the standards of food presentation required by each outlet.
Maintains cleanliness at work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils to the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene required by the hotel.
Assists in the implementation of the various food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP and other Municipality regulations.
Responds to any changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company, or hotel.
Qualifications:
Hotel experience
12 years experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Always displays a professional appearance.
A genuine passion for gastronomy and the art and flair for creating unique and memorable dining experiences.
Working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.
Previous experience in high-volume kitchens.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
