DELANO Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to support the Chef de Partie in delivering high-quality dishes within a luxury hotel setting. You will assist in the preparation, plating, and execution of dishes while upholding brand standards and culinary precision.

The role requires a formal culinary qualification or international training, strong kitchen operations knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• A formal culinary qualification or international culinary training is preferred with strong technical foundations.
• Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Good understanding of basic culinary techniques, preparation methods and kitchen operations.
• Strong focus on consistency, presentation and quality standards.
• Understanding of food safety HACCP and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively within a structured kitchen brigade.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section efficiently and effectively.
• Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes ensuring accuracy, consistency and plating standards.
• Maintain a well-organised Mise-en-Place to support smooth service execution.
• Support during service by executing tasks promptly under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Follow strict HACCP and hygiene standards ensuring cleanliness and compliance at all times.
• Assist in proper storage, labelling and usage of ingredients to minimise waste and maintain quality.
• Work closely with CDPs, Sous Chefs and other kitchen team members to ensure seamless operations.
