Job summary

DELANO Dubai on Bluewaters Island is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to support the Chef de Partie in delivering high-quality dishes with precision and care. You will contribute to a smooth kitchen operation, uphold refined dining standards, and work closely with senior chefs to ensure consistency across all menus.

You will maintain HACCP-compliant hygiene, manage mise-en-place, and collaborate with a skilled kitchen team in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in luxury hotel or fine dining.
Strong understanding of basic culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene practices, and food safety.

Responsibilities

Section Support: assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section.
Food Preparation: prepare ingredients and dishes per recipes with accuracy and presentation.
Mise-en-Place: keep workstation organised for smooth service.
Service Assistance: support during service to maintain quality under pressure.
Hygiene & Safety: follow HACCP and hygiene standards; ensure cleanliness.
Stock Handling: assist in proper storage, labeling and use of ingredients to minimise waste.
Team Collaboration: work with CDPs, Sous Chefs and kitchen team.
Learning & Development: continually develop culinary skills under senior chefs.
Consistency & Standards: align with DELANO recipes, plating guides, and brand expectations.
Kitchen Discipline: maintain a professional, proactive approach in a fast-paced kitchen.
