Job summary

Miral Experiences, a leader in immersive attractions in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Commis Chef/Chef de Partie to join its Food & Beverage team. You will work under the Chef de Partie, preparing, portioning, and garnishing dishes while maintaining hygiene and cost controls.

The role requires 1–2 years in a similar setting or 2 years as Commis I in a five-star hotel. English proficiency, teamwork, and flexibility are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in the same role or 2 years’ experience as Commis I in a five star hotel or similar.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
• Efficient team player.
• Good attention to detail.
• Flexibility.
• Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course (Desirable).
• 3-4 years’ experience (Desirable).
• Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and management (Desirable).
• Self-motivated and results-driven (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• To display a friendly, helpful and cheerful attitude while communicating with our Guests and fellow Colleagues.
• To represent and promote Miral Experiences in a positive manner to stakeholders.
• To help achieve Department and Company objectives, action plans and KPIs.
• To adhere to UAE laws, Health, Safety & Environmental policies and company rules; report safety concerns.
• To adhere to emergency procedures and participate in evacuations if necessary.
• To prepare, portion and garnish foods as prescribed.
• To assume responsibility of the section to replace the Chef De Partie during absence.
• To receive and examine foodstuffs supplies required for menu.
• To perform tasks assigned by the Chef de Partie.
• To report any product overconsumption to monitor spoilage and wastage.
• To keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
