Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar.
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or professional catering kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP requirements.
• Ability to organize and complete mise en place within required timelines.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, cooking, garnishing, and presenting dishes according to approved recipes.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef during daily preparation and meal service.
• Complete mise en place accurately before each service period.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, garnishes, and accompaniments required for assigned menu items.
• Maintain consistent food quality, flavor, texture, presentation, and portion size.
• Follow recipe specifications and report any ingredient or quality concerns to the supervising chef.
• Operate ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, knives, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Keep workstations, utensils, equipment, refrigerators, and storage areas clean and organized.
