Job summary

Apt Resources | Recruitment Specialists in Dubai seeks a skilled Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) specializing in continental cuisine to assist the Chef de Partie and deliver high-quality dishes. You will help with station management, menu development support, and uphold hygiene standards in a fast-paced kitchen, working closely with the culinary team to ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.

The role requires strong knowledge of continental techniques, a culinary certification or diploma

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Deputy Chef de Partie or similar role with expertise in Continental Cuisine.
Strong knowledge of continental culinary techniques and ingredients.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Culinary certification or diploma is preferred.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook continental dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the kitchen station and staff.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Ensure timely and efficient food preparation and presentation.
Participate in menu planning and development as required.
Adhere to food safety regulations and procedures.
Assist in inventory control and stock management.
