Job description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie Cold Kitchen to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will work closely with the Demie Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth operation of your assigned section while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in overseeing daily kitchen operations within your assigned section
  • Prepare highquality dishes according to recipes and established standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute to menu planning and development with a focus on Arabic cuisine
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Arabic with kitchen team and other departments
  • Monitor and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies
  • Assist in portion control and food cost management
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for improvement

Qualifications :

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Arabic cuisine and flavors
  • Fluency in Arabic and English both written and spoken
  • Excellent culinary skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniques
  • Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Valid food safety certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
