A Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while assisting with food cost controls.

What will I be doing?

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also assist with food cost controls. Your specific tasks include:

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within company guidelines
  • Maintaining clean and tidy work areas and preventing cross-contamination
  • Preparing all mis-en-place for relevant menus
  • Responding to guest queries promptly and efficiently
  • Ensuring food quality and proper storage
  • Contributing to cost control, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targets
  • Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good working relationships
  • Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
  • Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, health, safety, and food safety legislation
  • Understanding departmental targets and striving to achieve them as part of the team
  • Being environmentally conscious

A Demi Chef de Partie working with Hilton brands represents our brand values and commitment to guest service. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 2
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous kitchen experience in a similar role
