Job summary

A dynamic supply chain team in Dubai is looking for a highly analytical Demand Planner & Inventory Analyst. This role is crucial for forecasting customer demand and managing inventory efficiently to ensure product availability. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to enhance overall supply chain performance. Candidates should have a degree in supply chain management or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience in the UAE. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC region is a must.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner & Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic supply chain team. This position focuses on demand forecasting, sales trend analysis, and inventory management to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels across our distribution network

Demand Planning

• Forecast customer demand across product categories using historical data and market trends
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to gather forecast inputs
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models as needed to reflect changing demand
• Assist in new product launch planning and promotional forecasting

Inventory Analysis

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support sales targets and avoid overstocking/stockouts
• Analyze inventory turnover, aging stock, and product shelf life
• Develop and maintain inventory KPIs and dashboards
• Coordinate with warehouses to reconcile stock discrepancies and ensure data accuracy

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning & Analyst preferably in FMCG in UAE Market
• Strong knowledge of forecasting methods and inventory analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Advance Excel Knowledge
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Experience in the UAE/GCC region is a Must
