Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to develop demand forecasts and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure product availability. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and has 5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential. This position offers a competitive salary of up to 16,000 AED.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in retail or distribution.
• Experience with Open to Buy planning and retail inventory metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams on forecast assumptions.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal product availability.

Role Name: Demand Planner

Salary: upto 16000 AED

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data market trends and promotional plans
• Collaborate closely with sales marketing and supply chain teams to align on forecast assumptions and inventory needs
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal product availability across all distribution channels
• Analyze sales performance and adjust forecasts and plans accordingly to minimize overstock and stockouts
• Assist in seasonal planning and product life cycle management
• Manage and track Open to Buy (OTB) budgets ensuring purchasing aligns with sales targets and inventory strategy
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making
• Support S&OP processes and drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Business or related field
• 5 years of experience in demand planning preferably in the retail or distribution sector
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with forecasting tools is a plus
• Familiarity with Open to Buy planning and retail inventory metrics
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
