Job summary

Outsized is engaged to recruit a senior delivery lead for an AI programme delivery in the UAE. The role requires immediate start for around 4 months within a scaled Agile delivery environment, combining hands-on delivery oversight with executive communication.

Job description

This is an exciting AI programme delivery role working for a large global consulting firm to execute for their strategic client in the UAE. They are seeking a senior delivery lead with deep experience leading large scale technology or digital transformation within financial services.

The role requires an immediate start for around 4 months. The role sits within a scaled Agile delivery environment.

The ideal individual will have a strong delivery background and bring a blend of detailed hands-on delivery and C-suite level communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, build-from-zero environment.

Key Requirements:

• 8–12 years in technology or digital transformation delivery, with at least 3 in a senior lead role overseeing multi-vendor programmes in financial services
• Proven experience managing complex dependency maps across parallel workstreams — vendor onboarding, platform builds, regulatory approvals, and integration milestones running concurrently
• Strong grasp of banking technology landscapes and implementations (core banking, AML/fraud platforms, CRM, data infrastructure) sufficient to have credible conversations with both vendors and internal engineering teams
• Strong banking experience, with corporate banking experience
• Experience working in the UAE or broader GCC market, with familiarity with CBUAE processes, local vendor ecosystems, and the practical realities of delivering in the region
• Track record of holding vendors accountable to contractual milestones while maintaining productive relationships — comfortable escalating when needed and knowing when not to
• Able to operate at two levels simultaneously: in the detail of a RAID log and dependency matrix, and in the boardroom translating programme status into clear executive narrative
• Strong digital transformation experience is a must have
