Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute new business sales strategies to grow delegate revenue.
  • Engage in high-value consultative conversations with clients, leveraging past event successes and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance lead generation efforts and integrate insights into sales strategies.
  • Coach and mentor existing sales team members, introducing structured reporting, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Drive proactive lead generation from event attendee databases and warm leads, beyond just inbound inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Industry knowledge is not essential for this role; the ability to learn quickly and adapt is important!
  • Strong background in consultative sales, preferably in delegate sales or high-value B2B sales.
  • Proven experience in hunting for new business and not relying on repeat clients or transactional sales.
