Job summary

EnerMech is seeking an Appointed Person for lifting to support deck operations on client platforms in the energy and infrastructure sector. The role focuses on safe, compliant crane lifting and rigging services across offshore and onshore environments.

You will plan, supervise and coordinate lifts, ensure team competence, and maintain certificates and records. A 3-year Mechanical Engineering diploma and 10+ years lifting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Oil and gas offshore/onshore lifting experience of 10+ years in the same area.
• Competent to act as Appointed Person for lifting equipment.
• Ability to write lifting plans and supervise critical lifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, control and execute lifts as designated.
• Coordinate EnerMech's Riggers for vessel lifts and platform lifts.
• Ensure competence and brief crew involved in lifting tasks.
• Maintain lifting equipment documentation and testing certificates.
• Supervise lifting operations on client platforms and enforce safety standards.
