Location : Dubai, UAE

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Data Center Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our data center facilities in Dubai. This pivotal role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership ability, and organizational skills to ensure the smooth and efficient running of server environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, storage, and firewalls.
• Oversee Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Monitoring Systems (EMS) for optimal performance.
• Ensure seamless integration between IT systems and data center operational technologies.
• Support critical systems such as access control, CCTV, fire detection, and environmental sensors.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices across facility IT systems.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for system outages and performance issues.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors for system upgrades and maintenance.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records.
• Ensure compliance with data security, regulatory, and operational standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects aligned with data center expansion or upgrades.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of BMS and EMS.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, Windows / Linux server administration, and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and structured change management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high-availability, mission-critical environments.

Preferred Certifications :

• Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA) or Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP).
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP.
• Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Specialist (ATS) or Accredited Operations Specialist (AOS).
• BMS / SCADA System Training Certifications (e.g., Schneider, Honeywell, Siemens).
