A leading tech firm in Sharjah is seeking a Database Administrator with expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and various data technologies to enhance their database operations and performance.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in database administration with Greenplum, Postgres, Oracle & MS SQL.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL internals.
• Experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server security, encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, Big Data, or Data Warehousing is an added advantage.
• Expertise in query optimization, indexing strategies, and partitioning.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and MPP architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, or Hadoop for data integration.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
