Job summary

Halian Group in Dubai seeks a Data Security Specialist to drive information classification, DLP controls, and data leakage prevention across client environments. You will work within Microsoft Purview, deliver technical workshops, and prepare documentation for engagements.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on security experience, strong English communication, and the ability to translate complex concepts into business terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information safety or IT-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Security Suite.
• Deep understanding of data classification, DLP and rights protection consulting.
• Microsoft security services such as AIP, Azure and O365 Security.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27002 controls and ISO/IEC 27001 context.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Finish executions related to information classification and data leakage avoidance tech.
• Analyze service elements within Microsoft Purview range.
• Support presales and assist the sales team in safeguarding opportunities.
• Create technical and non-technical paperwork for ongoing projects.
• Bridge technical and administrative data security tracks for clients.
• Contribute to thought leadership and represent the group at events.
