Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Database Marketing team. You will build predictive models for gaming marketing campaigns, prepare data, and deliver analytics for decision making across Loyalty Marketing and other units.

The role emphasizes reproducible workflows, clear communication to non-technical stakeholders, and close collaboration with campaign managers to optimize targeting and reporting. This is a full-time position on-site in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in data science, statistics, mathematics, CS or related field.
• 2+ years in data science/analytics; gaming experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with ML models; Databricks is a plus.
• Solid understanding of regression, segmentation, clustering and sampling.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimize predictive models for Gaming Marketing Campaigns.
• Prepare datasets: cleaning, transforming, feature engineering and validating sources.
• Maintain documentation for model inputs, rules and assumptions.
• Support campaign ops with analytical vars, flags, segments and model-driven attributes.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support marketing decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for models and campaigns.
• Work with Campaign Manager to ensure model outputs are used in targeting and list creation.
• Collaborate with Loyalty Marketing and other units to understand data needs.
• Assist in test-and-learn initiatives (A/B tests) through setup and data prep.
• Check for anomalies, missing data, or trends; keep workflows organized and documented.
• Summarize findings clearly for non-technical stakeholders.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Database Marketing team.

Primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Build, maintain and optimize predictive models for the Gaming Marketing Campaigns
• Prepare datasets for modeling: cleaning, transforming, feature engineering, and validating data sources
• Maintain documentation for model inputs, business rules, and assumptions
• Support campaign operations by producing analytical variables, flags, segments, and model driven attributes
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support marketing decision making
• Build and maintain performance dashboards and recurring reports for Models and Campaigns performance
• Work with the Campaign Manager to ensure model outputs are correctly used during targeting and list creation
• Collaborate with Loyalty Marketing and other business units to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
• Assist in test and learn initiatives (eg., A/B tests, offer calibration) through proper setup and data preparation
• Perform checks to identify anomalies, missing data, or unexpected trends
• Keep analytical workflows organized, reproducible, and documented
• Summarize findings clearly for non-technical stakeholders

About You:

• Master or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
• +2 years of experience in data science and analytics (Gaming experience is a plus but not required).
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Machine learning models (experience with Databricks is a plus)
• Solid understanding of basic statistical concepts (regression, segmentation, clustering, sampling, validation)
• Experience working with large datasets and operational, recurring analytical tasks.
• High attention to detail with strong QA instincts.
• Ability to explain analytical outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Organized, reliable, and willing to handle operational and routine tasks as part of learning the gaming analytics environment.
