Data Scientist (Fintech) – Dubai (Onsite)

I’m currently supporting a fast-growing fintech client in Dubai who is looking to hire a Data Scientist to join their team onsite. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects across trading, risk, and product innovation.

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you’ll work closely with the R&D and analytics teams to extract value from large proprietary datasets and help build intelligent tools that directly support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets (e.g. trader behavior, revenue, payouts) to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models for trader profitability, churn, and payout forecasting.
• Build and deploy ML-powered tools to enhance operations, risk management, and product development.
• Work collaboratively with analysts and stakeholders to bring prototypes to life.
• Identify and drive new use cases for AI/ML across the business.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proven experience in data wrangling, feature engineering, and model development.
• Hands-on knowledge of forecasting, classification, or recommendation systems.
• Self-starter mindset — comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects forward.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bonus: Interest or background in trading, markets, or fintech.
