Job summary

A leading data solutions company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning and strong proficiency in Azure Databricks. The ideal candidate will analyze complex data sets, develop algorithms, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, excellent SQL skills, and be familiar with Python ML libraries.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Design, test and optimize data science workflows in Azure Databricks using PySpark and Jupyter Notebooks
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience in a data science or machine learning role
• Strong proficiency with Azure Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks and PySpark.
• Experience with Python ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow or PyTorch)
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of distributed data processing
• Exposure to Azure Machine Learning and Data Factory
• Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment in CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
