Job summary

Beauty by Imagination (BBI) seeks a senior ML engineer to lead the design and deployment of computer-vision solutions at the edge. You will guide model selection, experiment with YOLO and ViT architectures, and supervise VLM fine-tuning to meet production constraints.

You will own end-to-end MLOps, mentor a technical team, and collaborate with stakeholders on architecture decisions to deliver scalable CV systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or related field.
• PhD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of computer-vision solutions (object detection, tracking, re-identification, action recognition, segmentation).
• Drive model selection and experimentation with YOLO, ViT/Transformer architectures, and RF-DETR.
• Guide use of Vision-Language Models (VLMs), including fine-tuning.
• Own model optimisation for production (TensorRT, ONNX, OpenVINO) within edge-AI constraints (latency, FPS, GPU).
• Own the full MLOps lifecycle end to end; lead, mentor and code-review a team; contribute to solution architecture and stakeholder communication.

• Demonstrated team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-communication / solution-architecture skills
