Job summary

Client of YALLO Retail is looking for a Data Product Manager to own the data product lifecycle, translating business needs into well-defined specifications for engineering teams. You will shape the backlog, collaborate with architects and QA, and define value metrics to drive measurable outcomes.

The role requires 4–6 years in product management or a hybrid data product role, with strong requirements elicitation and the ability to write clear user stories for a technical audience.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in product management, business analysis or hybrid data product role.
• Proven data or technical product management experience, ideally within analytics/data platform teams.
• Strong requirements-elicitation and facilitation skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to write clear user stories and specifications for a technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business stakeholders for data products, reports, pipelines or platform capability.
• Translate validated requirements into clear specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap with Delivery & Prioritization Lead.
• Work with architects on solution shaping and QA on testable acceptance criteria.
• Define and track value metrics for delivered data products and manage stakeholder expectations.
