Job Description

Job Mission:

• Operate offline Survey systems to display and verify data acquisition, quality, and format applicable to survey sensors used from both the vessel and ROV.
• Process data from all survey sensors and manage data processing tasks efficiently to ensure timely delivery, considering operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of Survey and Positioning equipment and software systems.
• Support Online Surveyors in sensor calibration and checks.
• Install and configure data processing systems and hardware.
• Network data processing systems with online systems, printers, and data archiving systems.
• Check data flow, storage, format, and quality.
• Process, chart, and report survey data according to project requirements.
• Prepare and verify project databases and background files, ensuring they are up-to-date.
• Implement project geodetic parameters correctly in data processing and charting routines.
• Assess progress and identify potential issues, including re-runs or data infills.
• Store survey data appropriately, including backups.
• Maintain records for audit purposes from data acquisition to final delivery.
• Perform quality control on processed datasets against acceptance criteria and procedures.
