Discovered MENA is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead in Dubai to own a long-term legacy system transformation. You will lead data extraction, mapping, cleansing, and automated load cycles into a modern cloud ERP, partnering with vendors and stakeholders for successful cutovers.

The role demands hands-on technical leadership, strong SQL skills, and deep ERP data model knowledge across FIN, SCM, and HCM modules.

Qualifications

8+ years of data migration leadership from legacy enterprise platforms to modern cloud/ERP platforms.
Advanced SQL and deep familiarity with core legacy business module schemas (FIN, SCM, HCM).
Direct experience with enterprise ETL/data tools and migration cockpits or ETL toolsets.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to drive data ownership across business and tech teams.
Experience coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to validate data models and cutover plans.

Responsibilities

Define the end-to-end migration framework, data cleansing protocols, field-level mapping rules, and validation guidelines across multiple group entities.
Collaborate with database administrators to query, profile, and sanitize legacy core database structures (Financials, Supply Chain, and HR).
Lead end-to-end loading cycles including mock runs and cutover deployment utilizing automated migration tools, transformation software, or specialized ETL frameworks.
Build automated reconciliation mechanisms to audit data integrity, completeness, and accuracy between source and target systems.
Partner with external implementation vendors and internal stakeholders to validate target data models and secure formal cutover sign-offs.

About the Role

This role requires a hands-on technical lead capable of extracting, mapping, and cleansing legacy ERP database structures and managing automated load cycles into a modern, next-generation enterprise platform.
