Role Overview
BG Group is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to accurately manage and maintain project and company data. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and verify data into company databases, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.
- Review and reconcile data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Maintain, organize, and update both digital and physical records.
- Generate reports and summaries as required by management.
- Cross-check data with original documents, contracts, or project files to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Support project teams with documentation and data management tasks.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of company and client information.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed to support operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role (preferably within the construction/engineering industry).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data management software.
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
