Job summary

A consulting firm is looking to hire a Data Engineer for their UAE operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data modelling, PL/SQL, and ETL tools like Informatica. Candidates should also have excellent analytical and communication abilities. This is a full-time position with a joining timeframe of up to one month and does not allow for remote work.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.

Technical Skill Sets

• Data models with good know-how of various data modelling techniques like star schema, snowflake schema, dimension modelling, etc.
• Expert in Database stored procedures and Structured Query Language (PL/SQL, Java)
• ETL Tools: Informatica, Microsoft SSIS
• Business intelligence tools: SAP Business objects, Microsoft Power BI
• Core banking systems (Preferred): Finacle, HPS, Power Card

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the UAE Banking Regulatory Framework Submissions (BRF).
• Familiarity with the CBUAE's SupTech initiative and its objectives.
• Experience in automating regulatory reporting processes.
