Data Engineer

We're looking for a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and models that support analytics and business intelligence. You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless data flow, optimizing performance, and maintaining data integrity across various functions for our client in United Arab Emirates.

What You'll Do

1. Develop & Manage Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and models.
2. Optimize Data Models: Create structured and efficient schema designs.
3. ETL & Data Integration: Implement and manage ETL processes for smooth data movement.
4. Ensure Data Accuracy: Establish validation checks and governance standards.

What We're Looking For

1. Experience: 3+ years in data engineering, working with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and governance.
2. Cloud Expertise: Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP and tools like Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Spark.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java, or Scala for data processing.
4. Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and big data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark).
5. Data Governance: Familiarity with Informatica, Collibra, Purview, and Databricks governance tools.
6. Integration & Orchestration: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and API-based data integration.
7. Visualization & Reporting: Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
8. DevOps & MLOps: Understanding of CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Docker, MLFlow, Kubernetes.
