Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Principal Engineer – Electrical to lead engineering design for data centre projects. You will oversee client interactions and project strategies, ensuring that all solutions meet high standards for resilience and sustainability.

With over 12 years of experience in the field, you will direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge electrical and MEP systems, while driving business development and maintaining operational excellence. Proven knowledge in GCC markets is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in mission-critical/data centre design, delivery, or advisory.
• Proven experience in GCC markets (UAE and/or KSA).
• Experience working with large consultancies or international engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, integration, and delivery of electrical and MEP systems.
• Drive business development including bid leadership, proposal strategy, and commercial positioning.
• Own project strategy, ensuring delivery excellence across lifecycle stages.
