Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of mission critical data centre projects. This role involves client engagement, team leadership, and ensuring solutions meet global standards.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in data centre design, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of industry standards, particularly in the UAE and KSA. The position requires excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in mission-critical/data centre design, delivery, or advisory.
• Proven experience in GCC markets (UAE and/or KSA).
• Strong understanding of Tier standards, NFPA, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical and MEP systems for data centre projects.
• Act as the primary client interface, building relationships across key accounts.
• Drive business development including bid leadership and proposal strategy.
