Reboot Monkey in Masdar City, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Data Center Technician for full-time on-site support of critical infrastructure at world-class facilities. The role focuses on installation, configuration, maintenance, and incident response for server and network gear.

The candidate will perform structured cabling, monitor power and cooling systems, and contribute to capacity planning. Certifications preferred; strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2).
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Familiar with ITIL practices and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
