Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Jebel Ali, UAE, seeks a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, manage structured cabling, and monitor power, cooling, and security systems.

The role requires 3+ years of data center operations experience and strong documentation skills. Certifications (CDCP/CDCS/CDCE, CCNA/JNCIA) are preferred; vendor certs (Dell, Cisco, HPE) are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Experience with structured cabling and data center infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DCIM and ITIL concepts.
• Ability to install and maintain server and network hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor power, cooling, and security systems.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot.
• Maintain asset documentation and tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Support capacity planning and upgrades.

Cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2)
