Our focus on technology is integral to everything we do. The Data Center Engineering team designs the physical infrastructure of our data centers. Our lab functions like a research and development department, testing cutting-edge strategies. You will work with a team of experts on complex topics such as power usage and environmentally-friendly facility operations. As a visionary, you will optimize efficiencies and seek continuous improvements, communicating ideas and recommendations to senior management and implementing solutions with facilities technicians.

You will ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements, and serve as an expert in your area (e.g., cooling, electrical).

This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware infrastructure for internet-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs on servers, networking, and storage devices, such as replacing hard drives, RAM, CPUs, motherboards, etc.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical or escalated technical issues affecting hardware.
• Contribute to and lead deployment, maintenance, and support efforts for data center servers and network infrastructure.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades and decommission outdated equipment as needed.
• Follow environmental health and safety policies at the site.
