AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continuous access to AWS services. The AWS Infrastructure Physical Security Team is looking for a Data Center Security Specialist, ideally available for a UAE national with a family book, to support critical infrastructure installations within the UAE. We are committed to contributing to the UAE's goal of employing 75,000 Emiratis in the private sector.

As a Data Center Security Specialist, your responsibilities will include driving operational security excellence, managing physical security vulnerabilities, interfacing with security vendors, analyzing security metrics, and leading security awareness initiatives. You will also develop security procedures, oversee security projects, and advise leadership on security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily operational security across multiple facilities.
2. Drive security awareness campaigns.
3. Develop and analyze performance metrics.
4. Lead security investigations.
5. Oversee security vendors and systems.
6. Translate security strategy into operational tactics.
7. Manage security construction projects.
8. Provide security training to personnel.
9. Work shifts may vary, including day, mid, or overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

• UAE National with family book.
• Experience in security operations, project management, and working with security vendors.
• Associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience in security.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with strong communication skills.
• Experience with emergency planning, security systems, and security program automation.
• Ability to interpret security objectives, develop schedules, and communicate effectively.
