The AWS Infrastructure Physical Security Team is hiring a Data Center Security Specialist, specifically for UAE nationals with a family book, supporting UAE’s employment goals and Ministerial Resolution No.279.

As a Data Center Security Specialist, you will lead operational security in control room settings or multiple facilities nearby. Your vigilance will promote a culture of quality and proactive security vulnerability identification. You will manage security vendors involved in construction, repairs, operations, patrols, and planning. Your role includes analyzing metrics, recommending system improvements, leading security awareness training, and developing security procedures and reports for leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily security operations across multiple facilities
• Driving security awareness campaigns
• Developing performance metrics from workflow ticketing
• Leading security investigations
• Managing physical security vendors and systems
• Translating security strategy into daily tactics
• Overseeing security construction projects
• Providing security training to data center staff
• Working in a GovCloud region, requiring US Citizenship or equivalent
• Working various shifts (Day, Mid, or Overnight)
