AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring our customers have continual access to innovation. We work on challenging problems involving complex variables impacting the supply chain, and we seek talented individuals eager to contribute.

You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Your role will involve collaborating across AWS to uphold high safety and security standards while providing extensive capacity at minimal cost. We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. These technicians primarily resolve and troubleshoot various data center infrastructure issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware within AWS Cloud regions, becoming the primary resolver for your support team and developing troubleshooting skills across hardware and software cases.

You will troubleshoot and resolve most infrastructure issues and escalate more complex problems to appropriate solutions groups to drive resolution.

SAFETY

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards, actively fostering a world-class safety culture. Lead safety initiatives and projects to promote a strong safety environment.

DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO)

• Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
