Key job responsibilities

SAFETY
- Maintain and promote the highest safety standards, fostering a world-class safety culture. Ensure safety risks/issues are addressed collaboratively. Lead safety initiatives and projects to strengthen safety culture.

ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
- Support electrical and mechanical equipment including UPS systems, switchgear, circuit breakers, ATSs, diesel generators, chillers, HVAC, exhaust fans, VFDs, and transformers.
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, emergency generator, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems within the data center.
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level issues within internal SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Drive innovation to reduce operational costs.

A day in the life
- Work rotational shifts: 4 days of 12-hour shifts (2 days followed by 2 nights), then 4 days off, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Respond to emergency calls during on-call rotations.
- Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment during routine rounds.
- Supervise contractors performing maintenance or servicing.
- Perform tasks such as moving objects within safety regulations, working outdoors, in noisy environments, at heights, or from ladders, with or without reasonable accommodations.

**Desired Candidate Profile**

- Experience in data center engineering.

- Knowledge of BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection/trending.
