Job summary

Infinium Technologies LTD in the United Arab Emirates seeks a hands-on Data Center Engineer to support and maintain critical IT infrastructure at our facility. You will ensure uptime of servers, storage, and network hardware, performing routine hardware diagnostics and incident response within defined SLAs.

The role requires 2–5 years in a data center/NOC setup, familiarity with Dell/HPE/Lenovo servers, basic networking, and experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on data center experience.
• Experience with server hardware and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and networking equipment, including racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware swaps.
• Monitor data center environment, power, cooling, and physical security, and promptly escalate anomalies.
• Conduct routine hardware diagnostics, break-fix support, and part replacements (disks, RAM, PSUs, NICs).
• Support remote-hands requests from global NOC engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation of all equipment changes.
• Follow strict change management, safety, and security procedures within the facility.
• Respond to and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment delivery, RMA, and on-site repairs.
