Position: Data Center Application Engineer

As a Data Center Application Engineer, you will support the Eaton ESS Projects, Orders, and Quotations department, providing design assistance, value engineering, and application support for electro-technical installations. Your role involves ensuring safety, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction throughout project phases.

Responsibilities

1. Understand the data center value chain and translate requirements into solutions based on Eaton’s portfolio.
2. Design focused on MV switchgear and transformers, collaborating across business units for comprehensive DC solutions.
3. Lead the technical quality and content of quotations, interpreting customer specifications to create competitive solutions.
4. Work proactively with consultants, end users, and contractors to promote Eaton products and solutions.
5. Support pipeline development through demand creation activities.
6. Evaluate market requirements and contribute to new product development, assessing risks.
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and technical evaluation.
8. Analyze electrical/mechanical faults and advise customers on technical solutions.
9. Prepare RFQs and technical documents, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.
10. Coordinate with quotation, order management, and manufacturing teams for seamless project execution.
11. Drive standardization through application engineering initiatives and digital tools.
12. Act as a technical advisor and support customer issue resolution.

Qualifications
